Notes:
Burning Shadows is the first Dollar Tree set to feature a long pack variant. For users with Facebook, I did a video on my personal page that shows the difference between the two, as well as recaps the existing Dollar Tree packs prior to Burning Shadows. That can be found here: www.facebook.com/CharlieKnowsIt/videos/1999903973630335/
How on earth are they not related??? all 3 of those pokemon ARE in Ultra prism… all 3 of them have 2 different cards in the set + the rest of their evolution line… considering the fact that those sample packs only have commons, they are VERY related since those could be the pokemon you pull from them.
And Ultra Prism IS one big hommage to Diamond and pearl after all.
That’s a completely different thing from them not being related though. Al of the sample packs show some of the commons you can get from that set, and the 3 on this pack are doubly present in the set, so they definitely are related, regardless of any copy/pasted art.
They obviously wouldn’t be putting any ultra beasts or gx’s on the pack art since those aren’t common cards, and sample packs only have commons.
I have my Crimson Invasion Dollar Tree short and long packs in. Ultra Prism sample pack is in the mail right now. When I get that in I’ll do another update.

Notes:
For some reason my files on some of them got resized but they’re still clearly visible and serve their documentation purpose so it’ll have to be alright.
Has anyone seen Dollar Tree packs in the short variety for Unbroken Bonds?
This is the first time that I’ve gone this long without seeing anything but long packs. After introducing the long packs, they’ve slowly favored them. But a complete move away from short packs would be surprising.
