Safest way to ship high-value item from US to Australia?

I’m potentially about to close a deal on a $8k item. Would ship from US to Australia. What would be the safest and most cost-effective shipping service to use? I’m leaning toward USPS Priority Mail Express International. Greatly appreciate any suggestions

Agreed. On sales/purchases of that amount an extra $150-200 for expedited shipping is worth it.

As a fellow Australian, FedEx international priority all the way! Gets here in under a week vs literally months for other services

Its confusing, even if item is sent as a gift looks like we would have to include a commercial invoice, stating its a gift?

FedEx 100%. By far the best service from US to AU (if not for nearly every route). 3-4 bus days if you do first/priority.
