Does anyone have experience opening up Sabrina Yamabuki Gym Theme Decks? If so, how was the card conditions from your experience?
I know the cards aren’t wrapped in plastic and can bounce around inside the deck box a little bit with not much protection. Looking at the Gengar pop report, a mixed bag of really low to high grades.
Curious if the cards in these older Japanese decks typically come minty fresh or can be damaged in transit.
Asking because I am debating opening mine for the gamble gamble lol

So, I got mine in 1999, but I didn’t like the cards as much as my other Gym deck. I removed the stuff I wanted, and because I was OCD, carefully put them back in the wrapper and did not remove anything else, nor barely move it until until literally 2 days ago… This was stored upright during most of the time.
Here’s what the backs and corners look like. You can see that the front and back cards got some damage, but the rest… Worst damage was to the energies, and a little to the front card, which would be alakazam, I think… But if you know it hasn’t been moved much, chances might be good!
