I’ve been collecting sealed product for a few years, starting with Score’s Dragonball Z CCG:

In January, an old friend of mine sent me a link to the 20th Anniversary Pokemon 3DS coming out- we go back a long ways with the link and gameboy color. Seeing that 3DS felt like I got hit with an semi carrying 15,000lbs of nostalgia- I had to have it, even more so being that I haven’t owned a Nintendo portable since the Gameboy Advanced! Long story short, playing Pokemon Yellow again brought back the feels and re-sparked my interest in the CCG. Keep in mind I only collected Pokemon from Base set through Neo Destiny, so that’s going to be the extent of my collection :blush:

This is a quality collection! You’ve done well!

I think a sealed base set booster booster box needs to find it’s way into my own collection at some point in the near future.

I’ve been away for a few months, and a bit has changed with my collection so I figured now would be a great time to update! Before I dig into the update, my direction with the collection has changed a little…

As a kid I absolutely loved going into card shops, going through binders, drooling over packs, seeing awesome cards, etc. So with that said, I want to recreate an old school card shop with the games I played as a youngster- Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, and Dragonball Z. Without further ado…

I switched up my display, taking out all the cards and adding in sealed booster packs from the sets I collected- Base through Neo Destiny. Still need some packs arts from Gym Heroes and Neo Genesis.

I moved the cards that were previously in there into a base set folder

Completed the four Neo Sets- recently adding Neo Discovery! Huge thanks to user PokeConnect for that deal!

Got a theme deck box from my favorite set!

Completed the Blister set from Neo Destiny as well :blush:

Added some Fossil Blisters to the collection!

Threw some old school Yu-gi-oh! boxes into the collection- those that are familiar with the game, I’m only collecting Blue eyes (first set) to Pharaonic Guardian. I played during that time period, and feel no need to get further into it. Still need three more boxes to finish…

My most recent and exciting addition to the collection is this gem…

I sold off my Blue wing box to get this GEM MINT green wing box. The box is in immaculate condition and it’s staying sealed in the display.

There are several other additions with extra DBZ boxes, tons of DBZ packs, Pokemon Red&Blue 20th anniversary box sets, Yu-gi-oh packs, and other odds & ends… Here’s an over view of Retro’s Old School Mock-Store:
