s8b VMAX Climax has brick reverse holo for Japanese and a unique smaller brick reverse holo exclusive to Korean. But what if I told you there are poke ball reverse holos in Korean? After opening up a LOT of Korean VMAX Climax, I can’t confirm if the poke balls were printed by mistake or they are a hidden rare intended holo pattern. The sets between special sets s8b and s12a had poke ball reverse holos with a mirror finish, whereas the special sets with the poke ball are faint and hard to see with no mirror finish.
Poke ball reverse holo - need good lighting to see holo pattern.
Intended small brick reverse holo - exclusive to Korean.
s10a example with intended poke ball on a mirror finish.
Korean s12a VMAX Climax has a similar story. The intended reverse holo is speckled, but the poke ball was used in rare instances.
Intended Speckled reverse holo.

Poll: what do you think is the story behind these 2 special sets getting some cards with poke ball reverse holos for Korean only?
- One of one error (1 sheet per set)
- Repeating error (multiple sheets per set)
- Intended holo pattern with high rarity
On that note, I am offering $100 USD for any of the Eevees shown below in poke ball reverse holo:
