A very beautiful card has arrived today:
It’s a Base (2) Pikachu with custom paint around the artwork. It’s made by Lunumbra. I’m very glad I’ve bought it and it will look beautiful in my collection.

Pikachu lost a tiny bit of weight in the process. 
Now that I see how beautiful the card is irl I’ll probably buy some more cards from her in the future, although for now this one will do. She already gets quite a lot of submissions.
In other news: As of tomorrow my two weeks off from work starts. I planned on organizing my collection and make a YouTube video, so expect a video within the upcoming 1.5 weeks (I will post it here when it’s done).

Kind of very late to comment on this, but I thought I would let you know that Imakuni was at the Tokyo Battle Festa at Sunshine city, which was 1 of the 4 events. He was just hanging around talking to people and signing cards, very casual. As long as the signature looks close to others I would assume it’s real.
Also, I would expect some variation in his signature as he was just walking around the event signing cards and talking to people, he wasn’t signing at a table or anything when I saw him.
Oh, and very nice Pikachu collection.

Although it’s just an ordinary Base Pikachu, it looks pretty cool when it’s completely pale. Someone has sun-discolored this card on purpose for more than a year, and I couldn’t help but to buy it for my collection.

Just a small end of the year update:
Pikachu:
I currently have 706 unique Pikachu cards in my possession (698 if you exclude miscuts, ink misprints and autographed cards). With some recent ‘discoveries’ I now know there are 807 regular sized TCG Pikachu cards in existence. I also still have 5 more cards incoming in the mail.
This year I’ve also started and finished my Pikachu Jumbo collection in less than 2 months. I have all 17 Jumbo-sized Pikachu cards, as well as 10 more Jumbo-sized cards featuring Pikachu in their artwork.
Regarding languages for the regular sized TCG Pikachus: here are the amounts I have, sorted from highest to lowest percentage:* Russian: 100% - 11 out of 11
- Dutch: 100% - 6 out of 6
- French: 95% - 97 out of 102
- English: 94% - 154 out of 164
- Italian: 92% - 89 out of 107
- Japanese: 87% - 188 out of 217
- German: 87% - 86 out of 99
- Spanish: 82% - 40 out of 49
- Korean: 80% - 16 out of 20
- Chinese: 75% - 3 out of 4
- Polish: 75% - 3 out of 4
- Portuguese: 28% - 9 out of 32
I’m also in the process of creating my collection video. Yesterday I’ve recorded audio of myself. At first I wanted to record my collection on video, but I couldn’t find a good angle for my (pretty crappy) camera, nor would the differences be clear on video. So, instead I’ve only recorded the audio, and will make scans of all the cards. So the video will become a slideshow with me talking in the background. (I’m currently in the process of scanning the cards.)
**Seviper:**This year I’ve also decided to start a Seviper Collection, since Seviper is my favorite Pokémon. In the ± 2-3 months I’ve been collecting them I now got 81 (with 1 more incoming) out of the 97 Seviper cards (and cards featuring Seviper in their artwork) I know to exist. (As far as I know there is only one card featuring Seviper in its artwork at the moment: the Team Aqua’s Kyogre EX Full Art from the Double Crisis set).
**Mimikyu:**After seeing Mimikyu in the first few episodes of Sun & Moon I just had to collect those as well. Currently only one is released, the Japanese 009/SM-P promo, which I currently have incoming in the mail.
All in all a great year for my Pokémon Card collections. I hope you all have a wonderful New Year’s Eve. Here’s to many more great years!

No. I do have five Victory Medals, and I buy them when they are cheap, but I don’t collect them. I also won’t collect Pikachu-shaped Dittos or other cards featuring Pikachu. Although, again, I do have a few.
Here are the ones I have:
Only for the Jumbo cards (and my Seviper collection) I also collect all cards featuring Pikachu/Seviper. There are already enough Pikachus without including these kind of cards. Not to mention that the Pokémon Illustrator is recently being sold for about 8 times more than what I paid for my entire collection thus far. If I ever get my hands on one, I will just sell it.

@quuador amazing collection! I own a Victory Ring thanks to @smpratte , it truly is one of my favorite cards so I was just wondering if you were one of the collectors who own the other copies lol. Currently, I am trying to keep a complete SM-P binder so its nice to see you are already up to date with the Team Skull ones and the Japanese Toys R Us promo

It’s done and uploaded. Instead of actually filming my collection, in which case you could barely see the subtle differences and variations of the cards, I made it a slideshow instead, with me talking in the background.
