Hello everyone!
I would like to buy the 1998 Japanese Red/Green Quick Starter Gift Set Articuno holo in PSA 9 condition.
My opening offer is $550, but is flexible (can add another hundred or so) considering that the only ones on ebay are for $1000 and one last sold on ebay back in October for $390.
I am open to a better pricing suggestion. Please pm me if you have this item and are willing to sell! This is the last card I need to complete the trio of birds from this set!!

Just want to wish you the best of luck for your last card of the trio. I’m basically in the same position, only missing the Zapdos PSA 9. Actually bought Articuno first, basically exactly 12 months ago for 50 USD! Unbelievable now, isn’t, it? Got the Moltres for 100, but after that I just wasn’t bullish enough and the prices got out of control way too quickly for me 
. I still have some hope to someday acquire the Zapdos, so I’m holding on to the other two for now… just want to let you know that I fully sympathize with you and my heart goes out to you.
One positive thing to consider however: there aren’t many (or any?) sales in the 4 figures, so I feel ebay asking prices are quite a bit over market value right now

@muk, thank you!! I wish you the best of luck too! Maybe one day I could crack open the box but they’ve also been going for quite a bit. When I checked ebay’s last sold listings, none of them were in the 4 figures from what I could see.

Hope you can get it. Angelic card right there, straight from the heavens. The gift trio (and scyther) are among the best pokemon cards ever made. Been holding out to get the best binder copies I can find.

I had the opportunity to buy one at $400 a while back from a member here, but I simply did not have the money at the time. Sadness.

I just bought an extensive Japanese cards and promo collection and have the three birds,scyther and the master ball in both holo and non holo and in mint/raw/pristine condition. I’ll be dropping the submission to psa on Monday,
I’d be be really surprised if I don’t get all tens.
BTW whomever said they are the best cards ever had it right… they are an absolutely gorgeous bunch.
