I’ve been working hard to zero in on some collection goals, and lately it’s been ungraded shiny cards! Here’s how it’s looking thus far;
I did seek out a first edition shiny Drifloon card from the Japanese set, it has a very subtle texture/holo print all over the card. Considering getting all the language variations since this is my favorite favorite!
Figured I might as well get all the shining cards from Shining Legends. Waiting on a Celebi to come in the mail and still looking for a bargain Lugia.
The Mew from that set however sits with it’s counter parts (and some other shiny friends);

Then I have these two pages of miscellany, some old and some new;
And finally, I am almost complete with my shadowless set! Waiting on two cards to come in the mail (Dragonair and the Breeder), then all I need is that pesky 'zard. 101/102 ain’t bad though! Pics coming soon.

If I may make a suggestion, I would try to seek out a reverse holo shiny Azumarill from the Steam Siege set. I noticed you’ve got a regular one for the collection, but the reverse holo really pops because of the dual typing (blue and pink). This, combined with the bright yellow Azumarill makes for a very esthetically pleasing card. Ever since I pulled mine from a pack, I just can’t help but stop and look when I page through my binder.

I did it!!! (Sorta)
Finally completed my shadowless set, and for a bargain. I think the most I spent on any single holo was $15, and luckily I already had a few.
Now the only card that’s missing is, well, take a guess.

Not a card exactly but I bought this lovely pencil board, since Drifloon was front and center. Anyone else collect pencil boards? I have some Sailor Moon ones as well from way back in the 90s.

Since I’m still sorting out my collection it’s hard to know when to update and what to showcase, but I thought today I would post my “shiny” cards!

Bought another GX Ultra Shiny boosters box in addition to some random loose packs, pulled a shiny Zoroark GX and Altaria (plus a second Inkay, ready for a good home).
I love shiny Altaria and am pleased to know shiny Zoroark GX is trending around $40 on it’s own. shiny Reshiram isn’t a bad pull from a single pack either!

Okay it’s nothing fancy BUT I got this 1st ed base set card for 25 cents at my local place.
It seems to be in great condition, maybe PSA 8 or 9?
