Today’s Question:
QotD: Which pokemon game is the best representation of the pokemon franchise?

Helpful considerations: Pokemon go? Pokemon snap? Pokemon Black White? Pokemon Red?

PokemonGO is a pretty good one. You can capture pokemon, love them, feed them, battle, and it is eventually going to have every Pokemon in it. Hard to say really because Im so biased between other ones.

Stadium 2. Visually stimulating/addictive to the nth degree, the possibility to boost aesthetics in a laborious way, requires hundreds of 2002 dollars in additional equipment to enjoy, tons of unnecessarily convoluted solutions to ridiculous GB problems that shouldn’t exist, lots of surprisingly entertaining low-effort side content, the bare minimum of cups and rounds like every pre-DLC Mario spin-off, “rewards” that are totally backwards (random DV EQ Gligar without Wing Attack, one move re-learner per League smash.)

Plus the full weight of all the retardedness of the GB/GBC games because you’ll be hammering their batteries on the Dodrio, doing things like spending 8 hours on 4x time to catch a Lickitung in the Mewtwo chamber in Yellow with DV’s that doesn’t suck, with Missingno Master Balls transferred from Blue via the Color Case.

Personally agree with @eevee as PG made it feel like each Pokemon was yours, and you keep each one you encounter. Outside of that, I love SoulSilver as it felt large. I think the new games will be amazing one day, if/when they can make the worlds 10x bigger.
