any type of plants, but especially flowers

Monochromatic color schemes.

Animals which are not Pokemon. It doesn’t happen now but in the early days of Pokemon, animals existed in the world too.

In general: realistic backgrounds. Pokémon in their natural environments have always been my favorites.
For FA cards, I like those with people in the background, since overall almost all FA cards are nice these days, and I collect FA Supporter/CHR cards and other FA cards with people in the artwork.
