I can indulge you with some lore. Arceus is less of a puppet god and more like an unpaid intern. Arceus has to do all the boring stuff like creation of the universe, worlds and gods while Godoof has his own responsibilities. What those duties entirely consist of us is unknown to me, however, I do know that one of the responsibilities is the creation of new Pokemon. Many think that responsibility belongs to Arceus, which is a misconception. A misconception that we don’t like to clear up. You see, Godoof doesn’t care what the mortals think about his perfect designs and uses Arceus as a scapegoat to absorb all the outrage and hatred so Godoof can continue creating elaborate and perfect Pokemon uninterrupted. A few of his personal favorites are as follows: Vanillite, Trubbish, Pawmo, all of the Ultra Beasts, Thwacky and of course the lesser Bidoofs running around Sinnohs fields.
