You should still be able to use the vault on PWCC even if youre banned from buying.

As far as I know, they are allowed to lock your Vault and sell your cards to make up for the unpaid items.
Honestly, this is no bread or water we are talking about, it’s luxury goods. Doesn’t get more luxury than Pokemon cards in fact, if you bid and not pay you should be banned for life.
I personally give no second chances on my channels in this scenario. If anything PWCC and eBay are too lenient in allowing multiple offenses before taking definitive actions, they should force the payment or a portion of it on the credit card since they alredy have all the info.

I doubt that, would be a legal minefield.
They would be allowed to do that if you have it set as specific collateral against a cash loan, but not if you had an outstanding payment.

Right, I worded it poorly. If you take a cash advance they can sell any of your vaulted cards.
Why were you banned?
Has anyone tried to circumvent the ban? Just wondering how easy it is. Is it by IP? Do they also ban your credit card?
Triple really came in still trying to defend when he didnt pay fourth and thought he wouldnt get dogpiled lol.
He gave his perspective even though he knew it was unpopular, I respect that. He also admitted that not paying Fourth was not classy and he was in a bad place. These things happen, no one likes it, but it’s good to be honest about it.

I think triple has an above average history of mistakes and poor takes but I also think he has an above average capacity to learn or change his mind. For instance, he used to think the forum was an outdated platform for boomers (some degree of truth but a very unnuanced perspective). But he started participating and changed his mind.
All that said the sins of his past have rightfully come to haunt him in this situation

There was a card I wanted (PSA 10) that had some weird highlighter on the back, I send them an email while the item is in preview asking if its on the case or card, no response. I email again when the auction starts, with the same question, again with no response. 3 days left I open the livechat and ask, they say they will email me if its on the card or the case. I don’t get any response at all, and I win the card because it’s a low supply card and I really wanted it.
3hrs after I win, I get a message saying the highlighter is on the card and not the case. On the phone with them, I told them I’m not paying, so I didn’t.
So they banned my account.
I’m not gonna pay 4 figures for a PSA 10 with highlighter on the back, I don’t love PWCC that much.
They didn’t remove or touch my vault, just froze my buying

I’m not defending why I didn’t pay fourth. All I’m saying is I understand and I’m empathetical to buyers. Some people can only spend on their 1 card or even “grail” card. I’ve had multiple people waste my time often because there was a speck of dust inside the PSA case or whatever reason and stuff like that and to me it is normal. I only consider it malicious behavior if its abusive and a reoccuring issue.
Seconding this question. Anecdotally I’ve heard people just making new accounts with slightly different info, but I could be wrong. Would be good to get clarity on this.
It’s weird that they removed my vault access too. I guess they were trying to pressure me more to pay.
In the end I did pay since it was my mistake but I don’t like their response to me and how they handled the whole situation. They even made it difficult for me to pay them which blows my mind.
