PWCC/Fanatics adds CGC graders on site, wants 24 hour turnaround

I’ll also share my timeline:

  • I sent 78 cards under the grade with CGC and go directly to auction option for $9 per card
  • They were delivered by USPS on Friday, September 20th
  • I got an email saying they were received on Monday, September 23rd (guessing they don’t work weekends)
  • I got an invoice and my grades on Wednesday, September 25th
  • The cards are currently scheduled to be part of the weekly auction starting on October 10th

Ahhhh!!

No, it didn’t qualify for Authenticity guarantee. Something about the listing must’ve disqualified it. I asked for photos and everything seemed okay.

Gotcha! Maybe it came from international seller? Yeah mine so far have had eBay authenticity so I felt more comfortable…dunno how I’d feel without it when they can send an unlimited Caterpie and we wouldn’t know for weeks lol

The word “Deck” is what prevents Trainer Deck A/B cards from receiving authenticity guarantee.

Ahh that makes sense. Thank you.

Just to add some more data from my experience so far, some of my stuff is live in auction now.

I was wondering why my seller net was lower than the bid amount (that bid amount does not include BP) despite every piece of documentation constantly advertising zero seller fees. Then I found this in the corner of their fee structure chart:

What this seems to mean is that they take $3 no matter what, and if the BP doesn’t get to the point of being $3 or more, the $3 comes out of what you get. I find it a little contradictory that the chart says you receive 100% of hammer price at $5-$49, yet you clearly don’t because the item needs to be $15 for the BP to cover the $3 that they take.

For the record, I understand that this only really impacts garbage items under $15, I just feel like it’s a little disingenuous to claim zero seller fees as well as state 100% of hammer price at $5 when that’s clearly not the case.

Just to update my previous post, it seems that $13 is the breakeven point where the seller payout equals what they bid. I guess this is due to the way they round.

very pleased with it sent 4 subs so far and done in 2 days, obviously not 24 hours but vastly superior to any other companies TAT

My rep said the TAT is 3 days with hopes of getting to 24 hours. Agree, it’s crazy fast regardless

Seems a lot better compared to sending it yourself, waiting two months and paying more.
I’m definitely going to try it out at some point.

Really helpful to know this, thank you

For people who buy from ebay and send directly to PWCC, do you just send to this address?

Has anyone sent to this service from the UK? Or even from Japan (I’m thinking of charizardballering cards from tenso straight to pwcc auction)

Correct, and create a submission and add the tracking and you’re all set

Do you add the tracking in the submission notes or something? Or does that come up after you click ‘finish submission’?

cheers

Yep after you hit “finish” there will be a place to add the tracking and they also send an email asking you for it if you leave it blank
