Correct. Before that it was regular ship to Florida deal, now the graders are in fanatics office so 1 day should be technically possible depending on volume I guess lol
I just chatted them to check because that image they have for auction fees phrased it weirdly, but you’re correct. Its $9 to grade the card and auction it, no additional fees for the seller at all.
Had a single card marked into “grading” Tuesday at 9am Pacific time. Went with CGC for the 24 hour turnaround. No results yet. Been watching my email and Fanatics account like a HAWK.

How does one do this? I see on the site, you have to specifically send the raw submission and note it in advance? Is there no way to grade raw cards already in my vault?
How do I submit items in my vault to Grading? – Fanatics Collect
- Select the raw card(s) you wish to submit for grading from the “My Vault” page using the check box next to the image of the item.
- Choose “Ship” in the Actions dropdown menu.
- On the page that appears, uncheck the “Use Default Fulfillment Address” checkbox and enter the address provided below. Please be sure to indicate which service you are submitting to in the address by using the acronym:(BGS, CCG, SGC, PSA) Grading + Vault 7560 SW Durham Rd Tigard, OR 97224
- Select the “Create” button to submit the request. This will automatically create an invoice, but please do not pay the invoice. Instead, please notify the customer service team via email or through the chat feature during business hours.
- We will waive the automatically-generated fulfillment invoice and submit your items to the grading company. We’ll let you know when your cards return and are ready for auction!

Well damn, I must have missed this entirely when looking. Seems like a non-ideal way to do it but they are probably working on the UI for it as I type this.

Its a goofy question to query on Google, but I found this while researching how to send in raw cards, which was suspiciously simple.
Yeah. Tbh I kinda expected this card to fly through since it was only one card.
I also was expecting to pay $40 since its a more valuable card but I guess everything is a flat $9 when done through Fanatics.
I got a raw bd pikachu in there I bought for a binder but it came out way cleaner than expected. Might be worth to grade, flip and get a cheaper one.
Looks like it could PSA 10 but centering will probably drop it to 9. I have no idea if there is any scratching.

Yeah looks like a shoo-in for a 9. Does the lower rate and faster turnaround time entice you to use CGC or would you still go with PSA?
Also, I’m uncertain if you still pay outbound and inbound shipping if you use a grader other than CGC.
Yep, I had CS confirm that for me too. Junk modern or illustrator, doesn’t matter, $9.

I sent 3 separate cards to SGC using the service bought raw directly from eBay. Have not paid any shipping costs at all. Took 45 days though which is like 3x worse than the usual sgc turnaround

The choice in this case is entirely financial, so whatever one nets out best. I have cards in the vault I bought in 2021 with the intention of withdrawing and still haven’t. I basically have infinite patience

Hello,
I received my grade from Fanatic’s on-site grading with CGC just a moment ago.
Timeline:
9/23 - Raw card arrives per USPS tracking
9/24 - I receive an email confirming receipt and that the item is sent to grading. At this point, the submission section in my Fanatic’s account lists the status as “Grading”.
9/30 - I receive an email indicating the same submission has been received. (This confused me at first, but my understanding is once the cards are graded, they go through the normal curation process to vault storage. Hence even if the cards are graded in 24 hours, you still have the standard wait for an item to complete scanning and vault storage.
9/30 - A few hours later I receive an email about an invoice. The grade of the card is not listed in this email. I then go online and see a scan of the graded card in my vault.
Here is the card and grade.
Overall, I am pleased. I am disappointed in the dreaded 8.5. An 8 or 9 is a fair grade, but 8.5 on a rare card like this makes me kinda ehhh. But that is just pride because it is for my collection and I collect 8s and 9s.
The big advantage of this service was being able to buy the card raw on eBay, enjoy tax savings of sending directly to the vault, and no stress about shipping and insuring(or not insuring) the card to CGC myself. I also only paid $9 for grading. Honestly, I’m kinda upset about the 8.5 but in a couple hours I’ll get over it and I appreciate how simple the process.
My only complaint, and it shows how spoiled we are today, is that there are no preliminary scans made of the card upon receipt. Therefore, I was in the dark as to whether the actual card I paid for on eBay was actually received. Probs not as big a deal if you send cards yourself, but since this is a eBay purchase I had shipped directly to the vault, I never knew the seller actually shipped a Trainer Deck B Blastoise until the grade reveal. And yes, I did specifically request the seller ship the card in a penny sleeve and Card Saver.
For whatever its worth, this card is not yet reflected in the CGC pop report. (I was refreshing that to see if any changes happened, since only 7(now 8) TDB Blastoise’s had been graded with them.

That’s awesome! I wonder how much the hurricane affected the turnaround, cause 6 days is a bit more than expected but obviously still really fast.
Did your card have to go through authentication first? The ones I’ve sent for sgc did so I had less worries that I wasn’t getting the right card sent but I agree they should do an intake pic but maybe that would slow them down way too much to be viable
I am not aware that the card went through any sort of authentication. Do you mean SGC had pictures taken before grading that you could view in your Fanatic’s vault?

That’s also my concern with sending in direct for submitting into the vault or grading a raw card. A while back, I purchased some graded cards and had them delivered directly to my PWCC vault. The process in general was pretty easy on the PWCC site, but I was still concerned about the what-ifs.
Like, if the seller sends the wrong slabs, does PWCC accept the order and just vault it? If they did that, it sounds like it would be hard to get a return on eBay. Or, if the seller didn’t disclose damages to the slab, and it get’s submitted to the vault.
Being able to see the card or slab in-hand to verify seems like such an important process for me personally. I appreciate these expedited and convenient service options, but I’m not sure if I’d ever utilize them
