PSA Vault International Use and Payouts

I’m a collector based in New Zealand and am heavily considering using PSA vault, for the uses of vaulting, buy and sell cards. Does anyone internationally use PSA vault? These are the questions I want answered. Are international payouts possible, if not are there work arounds? Can you withdraw cards from vault and how much does international shipping cost? I just don’t want to make a massive mistake before sending hundreds of cards off. I can’t seem to find any set in stone answers and just going from link to link. Cheers

I withdrew a card from the PSA vault to UK about a week ago. It was only $6. Which seems incredibly cheap. I believe it is less if the card has been vaulted for more than 90 days.

I have also sold a card (still waiting for payment) from the vault through Ebay. I simply had to setup a Stripe account through the PSA site to facilitate payouts.

However, I understand from their website the ebay consignment service is only available to US, Canada, Japan and UK?

Anyone from outside US, Canada, Japan and UK that has been able to sell on Ebay/PSA?

Is it possible to open an account in UK or US to recive payment from auctions?

Was hoping to use PSA/Ebay to sell and then pay invoice at PSA for grading later, but that is not possible, and selling on ebay from Norway is not very good, as most buyers like US and shipping is to high from Norway

@Gomos How was the withdrawal to the UK? Did you have to pay any import fees or VAT? What was the value of the card(s) if I may ask?

Welcome to the forum.

Withdrawal to the UK was smooth. I think it took a week for items to be despatched after making a request. Shipped with FedEx with tracking.

I believe PSA mark items as returned goods (or something?) rather than part of a sale. I guess it’s tricky for them to distinguish which items were part of a grading submission or purchase. So for the latter you’d be expected to declare the import to HMRC yourself.

Hope that helps!
