Hi guys i was wondering if anyone has any images of different psa labels used for grading cards? I have 1 of the new lighthouse style on the way but also have 2 other cards with slightly different labels to each other. do any of you have multiple styles of labels? If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
1 of mine seems to have no hologram? But I can see a slight tinge of purple/blue on the label background. Does that sound right? I was assuming its a grade from a few years ago.
Old school labels did not have the PSA mark on them. It was widely disputed that people would hide the numbers on the cards due to others printing off a label with the same number but for a card that is not the same grade or a card that is fake. They would slab up the second card with the fake label and no one would know the difference. Then PSA put the mark on the label, followed up by this new form of lighthouse mark.
There have been other cosmetic changes on the labels but this is the largest change.
