I’d be interested in knowing how the 1 million number compares to other trading card games and sports cards. Any data?
How much will this copy go for?
1 million
50k, there will only be one of these, it’s very exclusive.
don’t forget the BGS 10 will only have 4 copies as well.
A PSA 10 Charizard, now that’s a card you don’t see used to advertise grading services very often. What are the odds?
I see PSA has chosen the maximum meme route…it’s a bold strategy Cotton, let’s see if it pays off.
Now that’s a $10k card
What are the odds that it was a PSA10 charizard and not a common card hmmmm
I thought the serial numbers were currently in the 45xxxxx range?
I guess they made an exception for this card
That IS fun. Surprised it was that card considering all the thousands it could have been. Did they tweak the result? Wonder who got it?
If it wasn’t clear, the cert is a special destination for the 1 millionth pokemon card graded just as the Gretzey Wagner also has a special destination
Why am I not surprised that PSA made a Charizard the 1 millionth Pokemon card graded?
…
It’s actually very cool that PSA gave that serial to a Pokemon card says a lot about how we have grown as a hobby.
Yep agreed although I find it near impossible that it was a shiny Charizard in psa 10, but whatever PSA has to do for the hype!
How long till it’s up on eBay
Speaking of cert numbers, why are there no pokemon cards in the 3xxxxxxx numbers? At least I have never seen any that start with a 3
PSA using the hype around this Zard and Pokemon as an advertisement for their grading services. It’s sad. Are we all just going to sit here and believe that the 1 millionth card to be graded by PSA just happened to be a PSA 10 Charizard and not only that but a Charizard from one of the most hyped up sets in recent memory. Not a chance. I can’t even wrap my head around how they came up with this idea or how its good for the hobby. All this does is artificially hype the prices and the hobby more than it already is.
