Is there a wrath to the math about the numbers on Cert stickers and age of authentication date?

What stickers are you talking about? PSA labels?

I’m not sure if this is what you’re asking, but I can tell you you can’t just compare the cert numbers and tell if one is graded earlier than the other.

Here’s an example of cards sending in different orders with both orders under the exact same service tier, but cards sent later got the smaller cert number.

I believe the cert number is determined when you fill out the form as opposed to when it’s actually received.

Uh no, these subs were done back in the good old days when you have to download a blank form PDF from PSA, print it out, fill in by hand and send in with your cards. PSA won’t have any idea that you’re sending in a sub until they receive a package, let alone generating cert numbers for it.
