you have to use stripe same as when you sell through their ebay account. can also link it to goldin, maybe a few others. they issue 1099 thru it as well
I have a saved search for PSA 10s sold by PSA. Thereās been a pretty noticeable drop off in listings, especially for modern 10s with market prices $60 and under. It makes sense given the 13% + $3 selling fees compared to 85-90% instant payout on offers.
Iām a little surprised EBay is ok with their vault partner encouraging transactions to happen off of their website.
well you can sell actual garbage as long as its a psa 10 u will get at least 100 bux for it so no surprise there ![]()
The cash out system seems potentially abusable, I think the card ladder value adjusts too quickly based on recent sales, especially on things that donāt sell that often. Sold two cards recently that were in the vault, the 25th Anniversary Mew was at like $90 card ladder value for a long while then jumped up to $290 after two sales on the same day for $290, and the PSA offer was $255 which I immediately took. Sales previous to the 290 ones were averaging about 150-200 for like a month. The Pikachu SM162 was less egregious, but this one also jumped to 200$ card ladder value after two sales at 200 on 9/12-13. I think thereās upsides to having card value adjust quickly to meet the volatility of some cards being pumped, but thereās a slim chance this could be abused by someone with loads of copies of a particular card, buying a few on Ebay at a price way above recent sales and then using the inflated card ladder value to sell a bunch to PSA. I might just be overthinking it though.
cardladder value is essentially the last sale price for pokemans so yeah it can be manipulated easily surprised no one has tried this yet ![]()
PSA Vault is offering $1,062 for my PSA 10 Flareon V promo, last sold last night from Z&G was $966. Seems they offer good rates for pump cards.
Am I the only one thinking that mindless and exploitable buybacks will be fueling the bubble?
Also, this is barely sustainable in a crazy environment where cards x2 in value in a matter of weeks and even overprinted played junk is in demand, but as soon the market dips what happens? This could be a hobby-shaking bomb imho
dont think too much just sell sell sell ![]()
I think i need to submit to psa to get a part of the action ![]()

I now have a theory for why QA Check step is taking 1 month lately. It is to make sure every card is loaded into cardladder and manually confirmed prices make sense for their offers. Now size of sub and if itās mainstream stuff vs niche might make a huge difference in QA check time. Either way, it is slow right now
My recent return was also accurately upcharged across the board. I wouldnāt be surprised if alot of those days are spent making sure all upcharges are caught
I donāt think PSA directly ācaresā about the offer accuracy enough to slow down the timing of when they can process credit cards for grading. I imagine they only get a few percent to facilitate offers.
One of the offering partners (CardsHQ) says they just submit a list with the pricing. So I assume it would just be ā90% of Cardladder for PSA 10 Pokemon cardsā, etc. and PSA just fires off the offers without proofing them for being logical. Iāve had $30+ swings overnight when Cardladder updates from a high BIN to an average auction sale
Ah, it is likely extra time to match the cards into cardladder then, not so much the offer price. Just trying to figure out why it takes 1 month to go from graded to shipped
The Offers all automated and donāt have anything to do with turnaround time.
I understand that, the part that may take time is grading cards that arenāt in cardladder in the first place.
Drawing blanks on why QA checks take 1 month now
Just experienced this and did notice that the higher end offer(PSA 10 for $700+)I received for one of my cards disappeared much faster than the lower value ones ($70 to $100)
As stated in a different thread, one of the cards I sold I saw appear in the gamestop power pack and for sure they do not care if card ladder is right or not. Just plug and play into their new site based on value.
Finally got to experience this feature. A couple of offers were basically top of market minus consignment fees, so it was a no brainer to take them. A few others were closer to 70% of market and were no gos. A few other notes:
-
I accepted an offer that was immediately retracted, and no updated offer was provided. Note that these offers were sent to me 30 mins ago, so it was a pretty quick yank.
-
I had two of the same card/grade with the same initial offer. I accepted the first one, and the offer on the second copy was immediately lowered

Overall, I appreciate this feature while it lasts, but its pretty clear to me that 100% of these cards are going towards Gamestops new slab slot machine. I have a feeling the offers arenāt going to be as juicy as soon as the market starts to cool down.
I was thinking the same but wouldnāt they need to remove cards from the registration if regraded? That means people can just keep track of the serial number and check if it ever gets removed. I doubt PSA would risk their reputation like that.
