PSA 10 BLUE BACK TOPSUN Charizard

Hello everyone,
I managed to get a PSA10 blue back topsun Charizard private. I never saw one sold public and the population is 4.
I’m very curious about the price of this unique Zard… any private sales data or thoughts? Maybe some of you guys have more experience, I’m only about one year into Pokemon.

It looks like its been newly graded. So you must of purchased this fairly recently I assume. Maybe in a trade or part of a big deal?

If not then you know what you paid for it, hopefully you got a good price. Are you trying to flip it? Maybe the best way of knowing is by auctioning it on ebay to find its true value.

Its a quality card. I would treasure it.

But yeh hopefully someone with past experience on the card will know the price trend.

Yeah brand new grade so what did you pay for it that’s probably about what is worth people who grade cards normally have a roughly good idea of what their cards are worth.

I think I sold mine to Gary a few years ago for $600-$700 range? It’s one of those cards that it’s worth what someone is willing to pay and you’re willing to sell it for.

To be transparent I paid private around 800$ for it. I’m not looking to flip it, but it would be interesting to hear other opinions.

I also got a few green back charizards in psa10. Got multiple offers around 500$ for them in the past (I’m from germany). - the blue back is much rarer and I thought paying that 300$ more was a fair deal…

Sorry if this is a little off topic but what a blueback card?

The back is blue. Blue is a cooler color than green. Blue is worth more than green.

In all seriousness, it’s kind of like the Shadowless version of that set. As I understand it the ones with the blue backs (as opposed to green) were printed earlier and in more limited quanitity, making them harder to find and, thus, more desirable.
