Probable Scam

I just wanted to make a post on an ebay seller posting a lot of good stuff at the moment that is most likely a scam. The seller definitely did not hold up our deal. www.ebay.com/usr/reliable_clothing

I purchased a 1st ed. base pack from them and then purchased 5 more through paypal. The deal was also for the other 30 packs from the box. I was told all 36 he had came from a sealed box and were completely untampered with. Once the first 6 were received I would pay a minimum $1000 a week payment(although probably paid off much quicker). After I paid the buyer he starts asking me repeatedly to send more money and to send free cards for giving me a good deal. It is really looking sketchy at this point, but I was not sure so I just left it at that and said no to the requests.

Over the weekend I receive an email asking for my name and address for shipment. This seemed odd since he had been on ebay for a while and also had lots of other high $ sales. Someone selling like this should know how to ship an item. When I go to respond this morning I have 5 emails from ebay explaining the sellers account was compromised, but also 1 email stating it was not. This was a bit confusing but definitely not reassuring. I go to their ebay site and see that they have sold several other 1st edition sealed packs(that they had stated were sold to me) and also have 2 new negatives on their account. Now looking at the items the prices are starting to push in the “to good to be true” range. I would not advise anyone buying, but if you do, please be very careful.

Thanks for sharing. A lot of people have posted here about him trying to scam them over the past week.

Yes, this is the case. I won the first auction for the Crystal Charizard and it has been a hassle ever since. Apparently told eBay his account was hack but this was not the case. Begging me to close the case, just patiently waiting for the refund hopefully in time for some more auctions.

As you said, if its too good to be true, it is…

Exactly what I was thinking big guy;) E4 has saved hundreds of people problems…like you already know.
