Price check holo shift error cards

Hi, wondering if anyone can help me out with this. So I came across a holo shift electrode from jungle in my collection and was wondering how much these usually go for?

I have only seen one for sale ever, which was a shining celebi. In topps they are more common. There is a picture on the efour instagram which has 3 holo shift cards on them. I myself own a skarmory from neo revelation (non holo) where the whole card is shifted. those are the only tcg cards I have ever seen to be holo shifted, but I have to say I have not been actively looking for them.

I would not know the value of these kind of cards since they are incredibly rare, but if you decide to sell it, I would love to buy it!

I paid $1300 for a near mint chansey earlier in the year. That being said I am a Chansey collector and Base holo shifts are rarer than Jungle / Fossil, so I was willing to offer high. However I have noticed more interest & competition in general for holo shifts since CGC started grading them and I am a big fan of them. So if this one has a clean backside I would offer $1300 as well.

seems like the value is a bit higher than I expected, lovely card but not for me, if the card is too played for you I will try to make an offer (if it is for sale).

I paid 500 euro earlier this year for a nm german neo destiny scizor holo shift and I consider that to be a bargain. I´d say you can get around 1000 from the right buyer, potentially even more.

edit: just saw that @qwachansey already offered 1300, so there you go :wink:)

Thanks for the heads up, everyone! Unfortunately, I don’t deal with misprints and error cards :slightly_frowning_face: very cool looking card, though. Hopefully you get a sale!
