Hey all so I’ve been inspired by all of the collectors here who are collecting all the cards of a single Pokemon (Quadoor I’m looking at you and your pikachu collection). And I thought maybe I will start to collect my fav, Mewtwo.
Thus I may want to get the biggest and best out of the way first. So does anyone know for how much these go for? I know it’s gonna be costly but not sure if it’ll be just my arm or my leg too haha. Also, if anyone could help me acquire one that would be super!

Yikes. It will be expensive for sure. $3000 would be my guess as most of the holos seem to be in the $2000-3000 range. Some even go for quite a bit more.
I’m sure the experienced collectors will give you a more accurate price.
It’s an expensive way to start that’s for sure haha. There seem to be very few psa 10s from the original holos around so it is hard to know. Thanks for the info 
I’m just thankful that my fav Pokemon isn’t charizard. I would have gone down the rabbit hole and never returned.
We should put together a pokedex of people going for every card - I call Scyther

Glad I still inspire people. Good luck not getting bankrupt in the near future; Mewtwo is just like Pikachu a pretty expensive one to go after.
Are you going for every variation? Or only English/Japanese? Or only PSA-10

Hmmm I’m not sure yet. I think after I make the start then I would know more. I would like to get every picture variation at least. I think the only one with the same image I could get is possibly the 1st ed/Shadowless/Base cards. And yeh just English/Japanese. The world is too big otherwise haha.
