Prerelease clefable

That’s certainly true, but collecting is 100% subjective.

For me, I’m quite close to completing a lot ofmy goals, so I could justify buying one as there aren’t too many more cards I’ll be buying for a long time

To build off smpratte, TCA did sell 1, maybe 2, copies for $150 each right away. The condition was definitely below NM and in the excellent to slight play condition.

Thanks for that! I wasn’t sure what the condition was but good to know what they are currently earning.

People’s thoughts on this one? Cost? Condition? Expert opinion on the authenticity of the stamp, from those who have actually handled this card in person?

I think the price is nuts for the condition, and it is an auction as well haha.
I’d only get it if you are super desperate for the card. I’m still of the mind that this particle card is in a bubble hard

at that price you’d want a really, really nice card

Yeah, did seem an odd way to list the card! Seems I’ve definitely chosen the wrong time to start looking for this card, may have to put it on the back burner for a few months at least. Thanks for advice and the experience to recognise said ‘bubble’. And at least I know I’ll never be able to complete the Pre-release set anyway, eh Gary? @garyis2000

Lol…

It could be an 8 or a 9. NM or better condition. There’s a decent bit of risk factored into the price. A high grade would fetch a high price. Although, it doesn’t seem you’d be looking to sell.

Thanks for your ‘eye’ on this. Agreed; a potential 9/10 at this price would have calculated value… But as you say, I am indeed looking for my personal collection, which would normally mean i’d be willing to pay more. It does seem a bit high though, even given that.
