This goes out to everyone living in the land of the free, who is knowledgeable in shipping goods from the US to Europe and in my case Germany.
Lets say I wanted to order Dex-Protection-12-pocket-Binder and/or Cardboard-Gold-200ct-Card-Saver how much would the shipping cost me (given, that the package isn’t triple the size of the content)? I messed arround with a few postage calculators but got prices from $30.00 up to $70.00, wich leaves me very uncertain of what to expect.
There is no magic bullet for shipping cardsavers. I used to ship to Europe for E4 members, and I would send the exact shipping quote to them. I remember someone wanted me to ship a full case, and I think it weighed in at 50 pounds. Basically the same as shipping @xzini
Here is the weight for one box of 200 card savers to Germany. There simply is no way around that weight.
It’s been said many times before and I’ll say it again here: Europe is in dire need for a local distributor for Card Saver 1s. As long as you have to import them from overseas the shipping will always cost more than the actual product. The last 3 times I tried to buy them from local sellers ended up being scams and I got my money back every time but I still haven’t procured any Card Saver 1s, it’s insane!
It’s the same in Canada for cardsavers even though we are directly attached to the US. Honestly the Ultra Pro semi rigids are nearly indistinguishable from cardsavers though and I find they are far easier to locate cheaply.
Anyone know what PSA Japan does with their card savers? Maybe something could be worked out with them.
Or…
They can’t be that hard to duplicate. Maybe some plant in o e of your countries could fabricate them in bulk.
I bought a “larger” quantity, more than I will need, for now.
I should be able to ship 200 for 30€ (including EU shipping), should. That depends solely on the accuracy of my calculations and the exact measurements of the product.
My order should arrive before Easter. I will keep you updated
