Hey, first post here!
I’m looking to buy some semi-rigid holders for submitting to PSA, but I can’t find any good places to buy.
I live in Norway, Europe, and the shipping costs are butchering me everywhere I look. Anyone here have any tips?

How many do you need?
Welcome to the forum!
Unfortunately for international customers, the shipping cost is inherently high due to weight. I personally sell the Card Savers myself, and I believe for 1 box of 200, it cost me $30 to ship. I sell them by the 100 to try and help people who do not need that many, but there is no way to get around the weight.
I personally buy from columbia sports as they have the lowest price but shipping is always gonna be more than the cardsavers themselves.
Thanks for all the responses. I don’t think I’ll be needing more than 50 at the moment, so would be interested in buying from whoever could get me the best total price for that.
The link above from Mo will get you what you need for a fair price so why not go with that?
That would still be 40 bucks total though, which seems too expensive to me.
yep, unfortunately theres no way around the shipping costs
Which sucks considering psa doesnt send them back resulting in a wasteful abomination of a process
Can somebody who owns a box please check where they are made for me? If they’re made in China like Ultra-Pro products, could be onto a winner.
Couldnt u just get ultra pro ones?

Could that help anything? Maybe there is a way to buy from the source?
Prob not for us, pokemon china lives there so might be possible for him
I was thinking that there might be someone selling them from places like Japan or Hong Kong which often offer free shipping.
This could all benefit us, if @zhongwen is able to find them relatively cheap and wants to export them.

I’m looking into it. Think I’ve found the factory!
Ok. I have found a factory that makes these, a few miles from where I live. Can PSA experts clarify - does PSA require specific brands, or just ‘semi-rigid’?
From the looks of things, Ultra Pro and Cardboard Gold dominate this market. I might start an eBay business selling generic no-name card savers, and undercut the market.
I’ll investigate prices and work it out tonight, but looks promising.
I remember PSA would always recommend Cardboard Gold’s “Card Saver I” but not sure if those are mandatory. I know they won’t accept anything that is not in “flexible plastic pouch”.
In regards to “undercutting the market” with generic holders, you might want to do a bit of research on copyright in regards to the product to be on the safe side.

Will do. Unlikely to be any copyright issues on a piece of plastic, with no branding on at all? Correct me if I’m wrong - isn’t it unlikely that they have a patent on what is essentially two pieces of plastic molded together. I don’t know where to start with looking into that!
Strikes me that PSA+CBG are in cahoots.
