Post Your Newly Discovered Repeating Errors

These aren’t exactly newly discovered, but most of them aren’t too well-known either, so figured it was worth adding here, since it fits the theme.

All of these are repeating errors, mostly for Pikachu cards:

English 1st edition Base Set Red Cheeks Pikachu, with ‘hair’ ink error and blue dot.
This variation was first discovered in February 2021 by @willyboy , and based on his searches he estimated roughly 5-10% of the English 1st edition Base Set red cheeks Pikachu will have this repeating misprint.

English unlimited edition Base Set Pikachu & Gastly, with ink line across the illustrator; copyright info; and set number.
I’ve only seen this misprint on Pikachu 3-4 times, three of which can be found in this video of TCA Gaming, one of which I bought soon after I saw that video.

Japanese Pokémon Card Trainers volume 1 Pikachu, with white ink circle.
The Pikachu promo that was included in the Pokémon Card Trainers magazine volume 1 on May 28th, 1999 can have a white ink circle at the top border, just above the last letter of Pikachu’s name. It’s not too uncommon to find, and I estimate about 20-25% of these Japanese Pikachu cards have this repeating misprint (this is just a guess based on how many times I’ve seen it; it could be more or less). Just like with the “d” edition Jungle Butterfree, an ink drop was probably stuck to the print rollers, creating this ink circle misprint at the same position on all the cards it affected.

English unlimited edition Jungle Pikachu, with two thin red ink lines at its name (aka, ‘red chopsticks’ error):

English Team Up Pikachu & Zekrom GX, with the Full Blitz attack having its middle Lightning Energy symbol in grey, and with a line going through Pikachu above it.
This error would only occur on Pikachu & Zekrom GX cards that were in the Pikachu & Zekrom GX League Battle Deck of May 22nd, 2020.

SM194 Detective Pikachu, low on ink and minor damages on entire card:

All French Hidden Legends Reverse Holo cards have repeating misprints available where they have the English Reverse Holo pattern instead of the French one. For most Pokémon, this means the Weakness and Resistance Energy symbols misalign, like this my Pikachu:

But for some attack texts that are larger/shorter in French in comparison to English, or for Pokémon with Ability-blocks, it’s more noticeable, like this Electrode (at the attack Energy symbols) and Jolteon (at the red Ability-text):

Italian unlimited edition Base Set Pikachu can have a green line at the left side of their mouth.

English Paldean Evolved Pikachu ex and English 050 SVP Promo Alakazam ex can come without the stars in their holofoil.

The 25th anniversary Base Set Jumbo Pikachu can have a non-holo logo or inverted logo.
The other Jumbo cards likely have the same errors available, since I’ve also seen an Inverted Torchic before.

And I haven’t seen it with repeating positions yet, but the SWSH039 Pikachu with Sequin Holofoil is also notorious for having red and/or black ink errors. I’ve seen dozens of those, with the ink dots in different positions. Here two I own myself:

When I have some time, I’ll also post some other repeating misprints I know of that aren’t Pikachu.
