Lucario C (Supreme Victors)
I love how Kawayoo depicted Lucario here, perfectly capturing an upcoming counterstrike!

One of my favorite modern cards, yet it was still hard picking between this one and the runner up, posted below with some of my other favorite Fighting-Type Pokémon in a separated post.
Greetz,
Quuador
This Cubone is probably one of the most emotional inducing TCG card. Sometimes when I see this artwork it almost brings tears to my eyes. If it wasn’t for my fascination for dinosaurs and fossils as a kid, this would have been my pick instead of the Aerodactyl, and it still was very close. This artwork is very impactful, and I think the artist (Sumiyoshi Kizuki) also did an amazing job capturing that.
In contrast, the Meloetta dancing at the festival is very happy. I’m always a fan of cards where Pokémon and people are living together, and this is also a beautiful artwork.
Speaking of Pokémon and people living (and working) together, the full art Excadrill also nicely captures the different personalities of both the workers and Excadrill. Like one guy + Excadrill are sleeping in exhaustion; three people and two Excadrill are eating and talking on their lunch break; and one Excadrill is emerging from the ceiling, probably forgotten it was time for lunch.
As for the Groudon, someone else recently gave the perfect explanation of why I like it recently, even though they weren’t talking about this card in particular:’
And honorable mention to:
Because of that Bidoof butt cameo.

You say Bidoof butt, but now I can’t unsee that funny Bolthund face.
