Yeah! The ones I got from Australia definitely were a deal. So I’m glad someone got those two in mandarake because they were overpriced in comparison lol

Part 2 of my collection update.
So literally my last night in Australia, I’m sitting in my hotel room browsing the internet while packing all my souvenirs when I notice a post on Facebook. It’s an individual in Taiwan who is selling the Chinese 2006 EX Legend Maker Booster Boxes. I PM him, and within a few hours, I was the proud owner of some boxes. Unfortunately for me, no gold star pulls, and a duplicate Arcanine ex. These boxes were fantastically fun to open, but had AWFUL pull rates. I didn’t even get all of the holos!
That being said, I’m slowly pulling this set together, as you see here. Only a few cards left, but I’m hopeful and confident I’ll complete this set by the end of 2018. I’ll sprinkle in some information as per my usual self!
Without further ado a few photos!
Boxes & Packs
So what’s interesting to note about these boxes and packs is the following.
In each box, there are 24 booster packs, alternating between the 4 pack art variants.
In each pack, there are 5 cards, 3 Commons, 1 Rare or better and an Uncommon.
What’s disappointing is the first common cards in quite a few of my packs have really light lines going across them. Not sure if that is from the printing process or the sealing of the packs, but it damaged a few of my cards. EXTREMELY difficult to photograph, so unfortunately I can’t help catalog this information.
The holo effect of these cards is breath taking. I really miss the older holo effects, I’m not one to enjoy the new set holos. That’s just my opinion and I apologize but the cosmo foil is where my nostalgia filled heart lies.
Arcanine ex was the first ex that I pulled from the boxes, and the last one I pulled 
It would’ve been nice to have a variety in the packs, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case haha! Now I’m searching for similar exes to when @pokemonchina was after his. That’s fine though! ^^ Gives me more of a challenge (and a bartering tool if people want to trade!)
So without futher ado here is my Chinese EX Legend Maker Set so far! Lillie sleeves on all the holos & in sections for the holos I’m missing or that are in transit.
These ex cards are so sparkly and pretty… *___*

I love old-school holos!
I’d say this is enough evidence to state that Flygon EX and the Goldstars are the rarest in this set. I must have opened more than 10 boxes and didn’t only saw one GS and not even a whisper of Flygon.

A fun update today!
I finally completed my Warm Pikachu PSA 10 set thanks to @swolepoke !!!
I’m so excited! I found it quite hilarious that this pikachu bundled up in winter gear came just as we had snow squalls resulting in 15cm of snow here at home. It’s the third day in a row that it’s been snowing here, so it is really nice to have this set completed for the holidays

This addition pays homage to @funmonkey54 doing his Ludkins USA submissions for October. I saw someone submit a Grand Party on his livestream and thought to myself that I needed one. I’ve been procrastinating for a long time now about adding one of the staple Japanese cards to my collection, just hadn’t gotten around to it. So, after watching his video I decided enough was enough and I needed one for myself.
As many of you know, I don’t actually have an ebay account. I have been toying with the idea to get one, but that’s for another discussion all together. I was surfing through the listings on ebay seeing if there were any efour members selling, so I could skip the fees and low and behold… @garyis2000 came in clutch for the second time with my collection.
After a few messages back and forth, this little guy got to come home with me! Although I received this card yesterday, I decided to catalogue it in my collection today, because it is also my birthday (lol). Thanks Gary!
So for me, it definitely will be a GRAND PARTY now with this amazing card!

Man Michael we share really similar tastes in card because it sure seems like every card I try to hunt down, you get the card before me
