Just a FYI, I bought the last Tyranitar 10 for $150 quite a while ago. It’s pop 10 and I haven’t seen another for sale > 6 months. You might have to be in the $300+ range like some of the eveelutions to get people to take it out of their sets if it’s even possible lol…
I’m open for any kind of negotiation people that dealt with me know that.

There is a psa 10 scizor ex on ebay. the person is asking for $999 and the same person has a blissey ex for $4999 lol.
The price of a complete psa 10 ex set now far suprases the cost of a box. 1st edition base set boxes are on par with complete PSA 10 sets. If you look at ex doexys, unseen forces or TRR the complete psa 10 ex and gold stars are worth 2-3x the price of a box. This doesn’t include the regular holos or reverse holo rares.
That makes sense because there is only 3 ex per box. To get all the ex from unseen forces in a 10 you probably need to open 10 boxes lol. Compared to base set, maybe 4-5 boxes (depending on how lucky you are with grading). Pull rates are very important and that is why you see that. Gold stars are every 0.5 boxes and have bad grading ratios. There is 18 different ex cards in unseen forces and 3 gold stars… very hard set to complete and miles harder than any wotc set in 10 apart from neo 1st 10 sets. The market is more efficient than you think 
Hey I do have Blissey and while I’m missing scizor $1000 is 5 times what last sold went for a couple weeks ago.

Buying ex’s right now seems crazy. People are asking crazy amounts and some people are desperately paying them. It must be worth whatever someone is willing to pay. How do you come up with your offer price?
I’m 127/139 and I got most of them for my offer price, had to negotiate some tho.
I’m not in a hurry and I can wait; trust me I got some solid deals during last few weeks (blissey from unseen forces for way cheaper than that; Celebi unseen, Espeon unseen, Politoed unseen, Regice emerald, Raichu emerald).
I’m definitely not paying $1000 for scizor.
So a lot of these sellers with rare exs in PSA 10 are just listing high thinking they’ll cash in on the current price increase. Do you usually have to wait a while for them to accept your offer or do you they try to hold out for that huge offer?
Not many listings at all unfortunately. Very low liquidity in the ex 10 world. The sellers have a lot of bargaining power and even if pop increases, so will demand over time. Ex 10s now is like buying neo 10s 5 years ago imo.

Most of the overpriced ones are not selling, then someone else decides to post a second copy and the trend continues, as soon as a seller posts an Ex im missing for a more realistic price i try my best to message him and work out on a deal.
Updated - Bought Scizor Ex; Latias Ex; Deoxys99 Ex; and Dusclops Ex; im not 129/139; missing the last 10; i know some people may have cards like Chansey and Lapras since they are pop30+ and im willing to negotiate.
Im also now considering PSA9 grades on Altaria Ex from Dragon frontiers if it doesnt have any print lines on the front.
