I’ll never understand people who bid more than another auctions starting price???

Why why why?

Well, one reason I can think of is that they don’t like to wait. If one is at 55 USD and ends within the next two hours, and the other is 50 USD and ends after 10 days, some people prefer to pay 5 USD so they don’t have to wait 10 more days.

Another possibility is that the bid above the other starting price was already done before the new one was put up for sale.

I agree that it’s sometimes strange to see something like that, but it has a few plausible reasons.

Is there something about US buyers having to bid in larger increments? It seems like other people can bid in 1k Yen increments but for me it would only take 10k. Maybe I’m missing something.

The original sheet the winners received with their awards would make a fantastic and suiting update to this article.

Possibly even a link and reference to this winner’s confirmation of the documentation provided here. Never hurts to diversify documentation.

This was all actually already posted a few weeks ago on the 3rd page :face_with_spiral_eyes: by @linkdu83

I’m aware. It didn’t go anywhere so I’m repeating the request with a little more specificity. I think it should be added into the original article as an update.

I included the link again because it felt rude to ask for work to be done and also to expect the author to hunt down the information once more. I think it will do more justice to edit the original article than it will to simply have it buried within the thread.

Can’t admin edit others’ posts?
Or is it because it is a Smprattington post that you can’t?

I can. Just doesn’t seem right to edit someone else’s article. Even for regular members I do not ever edit their posts unless I’m removing prohibited content. If I think an article could benefit from additional content, I’ll comment publicly with the content or directly message the author, as I’ve done with a handful of other articles.

FYI, the Koffing sold back in 2010 for about $650.

A translation of the sheet would be cool!

No comment :ninja:

That person clearly buys things to resell. Their “Jirachi Constructed Starter Kit” or “Flygon Constructed Satrer Kit” I remember seeing them in a lot of cards that I was interested in for months. The price was always clearly too high but it sold a while back.

Hi All,

I am in possession of a Charmander Snap card, i am looking to get a feel of the market for its current value.

Can anyone assist?

Like $5. Give it to me, please.

Easily, and I mean easily $3500+ man. That’s just what I’d pay, I’m sure there are buyer on here willing to pay more.

You have one of the Starter pokemon SNAP cards. This will definitely bring in a higher price just because of that, as well as being one of the better looking cards.

Beautiful card, very jealous
