POKEMON FAN CLUB PORYGON 700 POINT PRIZE CARD (2002-06-23) $59.00
How much are we talking when people say overpaid? Are there any other cards like this where the rarity has been percived as much greater than it is so the price inflated to higher prices than today’s?
I remember a while ago I was searching old price check threads on Pokegym, for this exact reason.
I stumbled upon a thread where people were arguing the price of the pop 5 Umbreon and Espeon stars. People were scoffing at sellers who were trying to get $30+ per copy.
particular old school promos this happened a bit, gary will be able to give u some insight, i believe lucky stadiums were more common than originally thought.
In 2000 I sold an ungraded stadium set to Joel in Ohio for 1900.00usd.
B’day pikas both PSA 9 and sealed with stickers I sold for 400.00ea. PSA 10s went for 1000.00.
id say now, at least in australia.
Back then the usual price for nm/m was $30 (some stores were trying to get 70-100).
Now they’re regularly finishing at 50-70 at auction
