Way cool, but not clear exactly what this is. Is it an entirely Pokémon themed expo or they are using Pokémon to promote?
They are just using Pokemon to promote!
“World Expos (formally known as International Registered Exhibitions) encompass universal themes that affect the full gamut of human experience, and international and corporate participants are required to adhere to the theme in their representations.”
It is sort of like the olympics in how it works. It is held every 5 years, and nations compete on who gets to host it. Osaka won for 2025, and had a competition of sorts for what brand would represent it. Pokemon ended up winning, so I’m assuming the company will act as a mascot for the expo.

Oooo this seems great. I was in Milan when the Expo was there (though I was there for Formula 1 reasons and didn’t know about Expo in advance). Would be cool to go to Japan for this Expo if it’s possible for me to do
