There was also a Pokemon promotion at McDonald’s in 2017. There were eight figures and twelve cards. The theme was Alola region and they had to share it with Hello Kitty characters.

An interesting thing happened in 2019, it wasn’t McDonald’s Pokemon-themed promotion, but Burger King’s. Since the movie Detective Pikachu (Pikachu, a detektív) was released in theaters, six figures arrived. There were no TCG cards here and there was also news that the Pikachu figures were snapped up on the first day, so we had to wait for the new batch to arrive.

In 2020, McDonald’s already had a Pokémon sale. Now they had disc shooters to play with. There were twelve of them and twelve TCG cards.

In 2021, Pokemon celebrated its 25th anniversary, so at McDonald’s, the starter Pokemon were TCG cards. There were twenty-five cards. Plain and holo cards.

A long time ago, a Pokemon manual was published in Hungary with all 150 Pokemon and a few extra things. This book was very popular.

There was also a Pokemon sticker album that you could collect stickers in, and it was published by some Merlin publisher. There was even a sticker poster for it. They say there were other sticker albums, but this is the best known.

Pokemon Mewtwo Returns was released in Hungary in physical form on VHS and DVD at the same time. This would be an OVA designed for home theater. The DVD version was also packaged in a Snap Case.

Detective Pikachu (Pikachu, a detektív) was also released in physical form in Hungary, in three editions: DVD, Blu-ray and UltraHD. The Blu-ray edition included extras, but we don’t understand why only this edition.

The music from the Detective Pikachu (Pikachu, a detektív) movie has also been released on CD. The Japanese version is said to include the “Midnight Demo” bonus track at the end.

Just because Pokémon 3 is no longer available doesn’t mean you can’t get it elsewhere. This is the older release that includes the short film and is also a DVD10 disc where you can watch both sides.
