Pokemon English Energy Cards Collectors (Checklist)

@credits @quuador the Polish Mysterious Treasures set was released in 2012 but the Pichu cards from it have a copyright date of 2010:

I don’t know if there are energy cards with set numbers in this set, but if so I’d imagine they’d also have the 2010 copyright date.

Any idea why the copyright dates of the Polish Mysterious Treasures cards are 2010? The original set all had copyright dates 2008, and the set is released in 2012 if what you state is accurate (do you remember the source for that, I could also use it when I will write my ‘Pikachu around the World’ part for the Polish releases in a couple of weeks/months  ).

Greetz,
Quuador

It’s what’s mentioned on Bulbapedia: bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_in_Poland#Pok.C3.A9mon_Trading_Card_Game.

It kinda sounds like this TM Toys company got the rights to two sets but chose to stagger their release - chances are both were indeed printed in 2010.

Looks like SwSh Fairy Energy is missing from the spreadsheet.

There wasn’t any in the main set, but it was in the Elite Trainer boxes.

The Fairy type ceased being supported by the TCG from the Sword & Shield expansion onwards

Except for that i suppose, ill update the list accordingly

So the reverse of these energy was in Champions Path? and because that was pack released there would be no reverse fairy energy?

Holo energies were actually some of my favorite cards to collect when I was a kid. I was pleasantly surprised to find a complete holo energy set from ex emerald plus several extras as well as a near complete set of the league promos of the original energies in my childhood collection.

I got around to photographing all of the energy errors I have collected throughout the years. I know there is an error thread, but I wanted to share with my other energy lovers! - imgur.com/gallery/LAWiy0H

Wow! Those all look awesome. I would certainly add those types of errors if I came across them. Where did you happen to source them from?

Watching eBay, Mercari, Instagram, any group that sells cards. Slowly picking them up throughout the years

Those are some cool cards. I love the lines of miss cut cards that match up.

@credits , I’m trying to figure this out from your sheet, but I’m struggling to know if I’m understanding it correctly. Can you confirm that each R&S energy has the following variants, and that I’m not missing any?:

  • 2003 copyright (dot code x)
  • 2003 copyright (dot code y)
  • 2003 copyright, reverse holo
  • Professor Program
  • 2004 copyright, no e-Reader logo
  • 2005 copyright, no e-Reader logo

And then I’m confused about a few things that I could use clarification on:

  • You have two different dot code variants listed for the 2004, no e-Reader symbol Fighting Energy. I was under the impression that it only had one version. In fact, I opened a sealed EX Battle Stadium kit earlier today and only received Fighting Energies with the dot code ‘E8B.’ What’s the source of the other dot code variant and is the Fighting Energy the only one to have two dot code variants with the 2004 no e-Reader logo?
  • I’ve seen images of 2003 copyright date Ruby Sapphire energies without the e-Reader logo. These are not listed on your sheet and I personally have no clue what product they came from. Are you aware of these and what’s the deal with them?

Any guidance from anyone would be much appreciated!

Perfect; thanks for the clarifications! You’re exactly right about the 2003 no e-Reader logo energies – they’re foreign versions, which I hadn’t realized since the card titles were the same.

I don’t have the energy to collect them
