So what are we calling this Holo pattern? What to add it to my list, but name it correctly. Are these the only ones like this?
Yeah, I started collecting basic energies a little while ago - I find it interesting to see all the different variations, since they’ve been around through every era and language.
The official name for this pattern is “water web” holo - it’s the same as the Sun & Moon-era holo rares, but across the whole card in this case. As far as I know these are the only energies with this pattern so far - but they released XY Battle Arena stuff well into the SM era, so it’s possible they could release more of these even after Sword & Shield launches.
Also, just wanted to say thanks to everyone for this resource - I just started looking at the checklist, and it’s really helpful to see everything in one place.

I don’t know how granular everyone wants the checklist to be, but there are technically two slightly different variations of the 2013 XY sheen holo energies. The ones from the Legendary Battle Decks have a glossy finish on the front, while the ones from the Battle Arena Decks have the normal surface that most Pokemon cards have.
I believe the glossy ones are a complete set of 9 (thanks to this checklist for letting me know about the Zapdos Legendary Battle Deck, I didn’t think there was a glossy Lightning one but I’ll be looking for that now). And as far as I’m aware, there are only 6 of the non-glossy ones because Grass, Fighting, and Metal weren’t included in any of the XY Battle Arena Decks.
It’s really subjective to the individual. Personally it wouldn’t bother me to be glossy or not. That’s not a variation I consider to be enough to warrant an extra entry but of course others may feel different. It’s like wotc 1st ed grey stamps, normal and thick stamps…Overall, its hard enough looking through bulk for 10c cards and notice such a difference lol

Found this awesome Japanese Battle Gift Set Thundurus silhouette electric energy in some bulk for 10cand added a 2013 WCD electric from Yugo Sato’s deck to my english collection

Nice. I’m still trying to find the Latin America one. I have the staff one. I haven’t been able to find the other staff ones. Do you have them all except the champion ones?
Just one of each and one happens to be staff stamped. I just wanted one of each area. the others are far outside my price range
