Does this image show SR’s, SAR’s or UR’s? The lack of AR’s is kind of a bummer to me but I can deal if there are still secret rares to be revealed

This is just the first 151 Pokémon in the main set, of 165. AR, SR, SAR and UR numbered after 165 are not revealed yet

April 28 update

  • 160/165 Leftovers eliminated the possibility of all Gym Leaders being in the set
  • the max number of Supporters is now up to 5 if Stadium and Energy cards are not included
  • the same artist illustrated basic and stage 1 of each starter but the regular ex unsurprisingly by a 3D illustration group, which has me curious about the potential AR/SAR lineup

Additional note: this Erika is wearing the same kimono as the original holo from Gym 1 Leaders’ Stadium (aka Gym Heroes), respective of the games Pokémon Yellow, FireRed & LeafGreen

P.S. I’m hoping that if she gets an SAR, it will be by Yoriyuki Ikegami. Celadon gym garden with Venusaur, Victreebel and Vileplume will pair perfectly with their Gardenia’s Vitality

I feel like I’m missing something here … they’re entirely different poses in entirely different environments.

I was afraid to say it, but I agree, they’re just too different for me to have made the link without someone telling me.

poses, yeah. environments? no

I really don’t see it…

Base Bulbasaur shows a large tree, a forest in the distance, and dense vegetation consisting of tall grass, flowers, and ferns. 151 Bulbasaur stands in an open field with a mountain range in the distance.

Base Charmander shows a steppe-like environment with a couple of rocks scattered about and mountains in the distance. 151 Charmander shows a grassy field with clumps of trees.

Base Squirtle stands atop a pile of round rocks in a lake with a forest in the distance. 151 Squirtle dives from atop a solid cliff featuring two small waterfalls.

idk i’m being less nitpicky.

base bulba shows dirt and grass with some plants.
151 bulba shows dirt and grass. yeah no plants, but who’s to say it isn’t just standing in a different spot

base charmander shows a field with some rocks, grass, and a bigger rock formation in the background.
so does 151 charmander

base squirtle is in some water surrounded by trees
so is 151 squirtle
