So I haven’t made a bgs order in 2+ years and just went to try it out.
For a single card order with value of $250 they were charging $40 for standard tier + subs, $16 for insurance and $26 for shipping. In what world lol

For those of you who ordered cards from this set through eBay, have your orders been shipping yet? I’m curious because it’s been 10 days since I’ve placed my order and only 2 of the 20 cards have been shipped.
Prices have risen quite a bit since I placed my order, so I’m hoping this isn’t a “don’t ship, get the buyer to cancel, and re-list for more money” action on the sellers part.
Bloody hell lol.
Imagine all the thousands of gamblers who’ve paid that on multiple cards to take a chance on a black label just to end up in the red….

Was it 10 business days? These do not include weekends and holidays in Japan. It’s possible that the seller is also buying the cards you ordered from their local cardshops to ship to you within that timeframe

Hmmm… you would think the singles prices would be falling just now though wouldn’t you. Did you buy from stock images or a listing for exact cards pictured? If it was the former, then it’s possible that the seller you bought from is literally just waiting for their sealed product to arrive before ripping it open and selling off all the singles, or doing some form of drop shipping routine. If it’s the latter then yeah you could be right - I wouldn’t put any underhanded tactic past anyone these days.

It’s a seller that I’ve bought regularly from over the last year. They do use the stock images so I’m well aware that what they have listed doesn’t mean it’s actual inventory they carry on hand. Historically they have always shipped within a week of purchase so being well into the second week is unusual

If they’re a pretty big seller I’d hope they’d be too busy to bother about manipulating sales to extract more profit, but I guess you never know. Hopefully it’s just an oversight on their part rather than anything devious, it’ll be interesting to see the update on this.

I ordered a bunch and so far 90% of them shipped, but all of them were delayed by at least 5-7 days so far. I’d say the sellers are just overwhelmed by the crazy demand for this set and the singles. It’s possible that could happen though, we’ll have to see.
I’m absolutely loving this set and just got my pre-order in for the English UPC on the Pokemon Center site. The Squirtle promo card was a nice bonus as he’s my favourite starter!

As expected, the Illustration Rare Mewtwo and Special Illustration Rare Mew ex are official images (i.e. usually don’t show holofoil or texture effects). The metal gold Mew ex does show texture but no SAR/UR glitter, as shown in the close up:
- It is numbered 205/165, so the regular gold version should be in the set as well - I imagine this will have glitter like the rest of 151’s Hyper Rare cards
- SIR Mew ex being a box promo likely makes SIR Charizard ex the English set’s primary chase card

Just bought a grail recently so giving it some time to buy my own box. I just want the experience of opening it. Saw part of a video opening and closed early because it already looked amazing and I wanted to give myself a surprise. Good luck on everyone’s pulls!

Any knowledge on if we will get actual booster boxes in english or just premium collection boxes?
Pokémon center UPCs are sold out! Any idea on how long it took? I got one yesterday, just curious if they were available today at all.
no booster boxes, but there will be booster bundles which is 1/6th of a booster box for the price of 1/6th of a booster box

Surprised they sold out so quick. They have been available to preorder at Gamestop for more than a few days. If you are a pro member you also get a 5% discount.
