More paid sales are the end results of less shill bidding. That benefits both buyers and sellers. Fanatics IP bans non-paying buyers. Fanatics also removes potential non paying buyers/shill bidders during an auction. Ebay does neither. A healthy reminder that “paid” doesn’t always translate to a real sale. For example, if these cards were owned by rich patrons of PokeColor, they could have shilled their own auctions and paid for them. The perceived increase in value from the auction would outweigh the % cut that they had to pay the auction house. I’m not saying that this is what happened, but it’s healthy to keep an open mind on these possibilities
