Bzz bzz goes trophy printer. I wouldn’t be suprised if another illustrator pops up after this one is sold.
Does pkonno have a few extra Illustrators in storage? Probably.
But based on his sales history, I wouldn’t expect him to put another one up for sale for a while.
Also - based on PSA pop reports, this seems to be the only one he has had graded (at least recently).
It’s a bargain compared to
www.ebay.com/itm/THE-HOLY-GRAIL-PIKACHU-ILLUSTRATOR-PSA-9-MINT-MOST-VALUABLE-POKEMON-CARD/362931142416?hash=item548061bf10:g:ih4AAOSwLGJeyqX2
Then go buy it
No, it can take years to sell trophy cards. I don’t think people realize that just because the market is at a specific price point doesn’t mean there’s people jumping on them, it’s still six figures and you have to find the right buyer at the right time. If someone under priced their card it’ll sell quick, but there’s not much rush for on market pricing. I wouldn’t be surprised if it sat for a few months, I wouldn’t be surprised if it sat for a full year, I wouldn’t be surprised if it sold the next day.
Just look at the market for just about any card, there’s thing sitting now for market price, doesn’t mean everyone is buying it all up.
The price isn’t the issue, it’s the website + the sellers 0 communication. Change both of those variables and I’ll buy it at that price.
People gobble up all of his other trophies and rare extras but see a illustrator and start screaming scam…
Can you point me to one post in this thread where someone doubts the authenticity of the card or calls it a scam?
No thread/post here, just stuff on Instagram I guess. I only said this based on the hesitation I’m seeing surrounding their items.
That was the first mistake

The purpose of my OP was to show evidence that this is in fact pkonno and that therefore this listing is legit.
If people are not privy to that information, then I don’t blame them for thinking it’s not legit.
Their loss for not being on E4.
The bulba enlightens us all on E4!

Scott I don’t see why you don’t buy it. You have a $300k offer that’s quite the flip. I Mean seriously why doesn’t that guy with the $300k offer go fly there and get it? That’s well worth the savings

Is anybody else a little bit surprised it hasn’t sold yet?

If the card had $300k offers apparently this should be a steal for any real buyers and anyone would love to flip this for $50-$60k so I would think it would sell quick

Easier said then done to park a quarter of a million dollars of your money into someone else’s website for a nearly $10k fee when it wouldn’t guarantee that you get the card and you’re not able to communicate with the site’s staff or the seller.
Having said that, one absolutely could take a calculated risk and do just that. Scott’s just choosing not to do so, and I can’t blame him.

The seller clearly has no desire to directly communicate with potential buyers. It’s safe to assume he also has no interest in making an in-person deal.

For $240k you’d think pkonno would talk to the buyer lol

You would think. But he doesn’t.
To some extent it might be because he was never supposed to sell these cards in the first place.
To another extent he might just be reluctant to do business with foreigners.
Or maybe something else.
We don’t know exactly.
