However my question being, I heard that there is a paypal account that I can use, that is part of my parent’s paypal or whatever?

It’s a service that allows you to transfer funds from a credit card or bank account from a PayPal login to buy things or send people money. The only “catch” is that they take a % of funds transferred on certain services except gifts. (Which is only relevant to people selling.) One can signup for a free account at paypal.com. He will have to verify his bank account to be able to accept and send funds. More information will be provided when you sign up on it.
I heard from a different community, that with paypal, you can sign up a kids account attached to the parent account?
So I won’t get paypal then?
