Very nice, can i ask why 2 x 1ed base english?
I cannot see a blue butt error on either?
Or are you place holdering for when you get that?

Also, assuming youre not interested in cameos?

Great questions! For the 1st Edition cards, one is a grey stamp. I know some don’t count this since it’s just an error/variation, but I had it so I thought I’d include it.

The blue dot error is the first card in the second row of the first picture.

I am super interested in cameos, they are just so pricey! Always keeping an eye out for:

  • Pikachu, Pokemon Rumble
  • Sapporo’s Pikachu
  • 2 Poncho-wearing Pikachus

Also searching for a card in each of the following language: Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, and Russian.

If anyone knows of any other cameos, please let me know!

Ahh i see, see im not that dedicated that i include different 1ed stamps.
I will say that there is also 1ed blue butt error cards out there (not just shadowless)
As for your other languages, you should be able to pick up Portuguese easy enough on cardmarket as base set is readily available on there

Edit, i see youre also missing the hgss base vulpix with the undaunted set logo

Thanks for sharing! I hadn’t seen that article before.

And yes, I am from Canada! I did check out Cardmarket because I hadn’t looked on there before, and noticed I was not able to sign up without a European address. I will look into proxy forwarding services like you suggested! Thank you!

There are plenty of amazing collectors based in europe that are willing to help international collectors like yourself (and me being down under) access the European market.
Im not going to drop any names, but im sure that someone will happily reach out to help

Nice collection! Vulpix is a really cute Pokémon. I particularly love the Alolan Vulpix section and the Japanese exclusives. Looking forward to your update!

In the past when I’d offer to help, I’d always put the disclaimer in that international tracked shipping from Germany is expensive, so you’d be better off with someone from another country. But given that the rest of the world now joined Deutsche Post in their “brilliant decision”, tracked shipping will probably unfortunately be expensive for you no matter what. If you’re fine with untracked shipping, definitely still look for someone from a different European country though, as that’s still available for affordable prices elsewhere. Otherwise, if you can live with 40-45 CAD tracked shipping, I could offer to help (I see cards in Polish, Russian and Portuguese available on Cardmarket respectively).

I was more referring to someone who can just have an eu address to assist.
I wouldnt buy from cardmarket and send to a uk address either haha

Nice collec congratz !
How did you get aware of the “build a bear workshop” stamps ? I didn’t know this existed, the more I see people’s collection the more I feel like there is some obscur stamps that i might have missed for my own collection x)

Also, what is this ? No ID number, only a glowy Charmander… first time I see this

Bulbapedia is your friend there, you always want to check the release information section on card articles to learn about different prints:

This is from the My First Battle Charmander deck.

Thanks for this info! And the offer to help  I will see what other options I might have! I am still looking for Polish and Portuguese, but I found a Russian card from a Canadian seller and it’s on it’s way.
