I figured I will present the sellers name if this doesn’t work out. No need to blacklist someone for a mistake. 100% feedback, why ruin that if I am not to a dispute yet.

Is there a history between @garyis2000 and @elam18 I’m missing?

EDIT: Saw you guys banter in the Welcome thread. :grin:

@garyis2000 is @elam19’s poke-dad. :blush:

Lol…

He’s my brother by another other…

LOL I grew up 1 number…

The problem with the USPS is that it employs a LOT of thieves. And I often suspect these thieves work as organized units within the system.

Take, for instance, the time I shipped 350 international Express Mail packages from Japan to the United States. They were scanned in Tokyo on departure, and they were scanned in the San Francisco hub of the US Postal Service upon arrive 48 hours later.

And then — gone! Poof! NOTHING!

Fortunately, everything was insured. But they were holiday shipments, and I had to deal with a lot of confused, upset and (in some cases) very angry customers — many of whom blamed my company for the lost packages (even though I had proof of shipment and they could see that the packages were “lost” by the US Postal Service).

I issued refunds to all of my customers immediately, but it took a couple of months before the Japan Postal Service paid me the insurance.

This wasn’t an isolated experience. I’ve also had packages delivered to friends and relatives, where they’ve received nothing but empty boxes that were chock full of goodies when I shipped them out.

I absolutely HATE the USPS.

That’s absolutely wild. I’ve not ever heard of something quite like that. Wow.

This sounds like customs was the culprit. Customs is by far the biggest headache. I have spoken with my local post office employees and they all describe the customs hub as “the jungle”. Sometimes packages will sit there for weeks untouched and then someone finally decides to scan the package. This happens occasionally with international packages and it is a nightmare.

I can imagine that during the holidays the jungle is swamped.

Wow that is some pretty lousy luck with USPS. Worst luck I’ve had with them on a pokemon card was I received a letter in the mail with the entire end torn off and the content which was a card I ordered on ebay was removed. I agree on the thieves part. Scares me and is why my more expensive stuff I sell gets insured. That 300 package story though is an absolute nightmare!
