Has anyone had similar issue like title says? I’m so irritated right now.
About a week ago I shipped big package to another E4 member located in Japan. However right after it had left Finland I noticed tracking info’s destination country says United States and as we speak it’s sitting in New York.
Already contacted our customer service and all they could do was to apologize the error and say package should be re-directed to right country eventually. Would this be the case or am I obligated to contact USPS so things will surely go smoothly?
I know from personal experience that in Australia that you can only deal with the originating postal service and specifically only the sender can claim a grievance.
That’s Australia though, so Finland might be different =\
Sent a crystal kabutops psa 10 to Australia and it went to Austria, I lost my printed receipt from the post office but I have a copy of the customs form I filled out but wouldn’t give me anything. They assured me it would get redirected to Australia but the buyer claims he never got it and I had no choice but to refund him.
I actually ended up calling USPS customer service this Tuesday. Took some time while I was waiting in queue, finally got through and managed to explain the situation, the error had been noticed and package was indeed forwarded to Japan. Just noticed from Japanpost’s tracking it has landed there, so relieved right now.
Gotta say that is unfortunate and sorry you lost the card, but that is just true ignorance from the mail company, they should be refunding you in entirety,
Next time I ship to Austria it gonna be in CAPS and BOLD
Also good to see situation now looks to be resolved
