Opening a jungle case for no symbols?

Hello errrrvrybody (family guy - cleveland voice),

I probably won’t do this regardless of the responses… at least anytime soon, BUT!!..

Should i open a box from my unlimited Jungle case? in effort to discover if it is full of No Symbol Holo Errors…

Thoughts? Opinions? Does one box with no symbol mean the entire case will have it?

Life is short and meant to be enjoyed… Do it!

As a sealed collector, DONT DO ITTT! Sealed product will only keep rising in value, so don’t ruin that value for the very very minute chance it contains error packs. I’d be curious to know if and what the price of a confirmed error booster pack sold for, I’m sure someone would pay a premium for that. It breaks my achey breaky heart every time I see sealed product disturbed from its present resting state haha.

While I can see your view on “disturbing sealed product”, remember product was made to be opened. If it’s never opened, it’s solely an investment piece.

Not necessarily, I dont plan to ever sell my sealed stuff, it’s simply the feeling of prestige knowing I own a valuable item. Im sure there is more people who don’t view their sealed items as investments.

It doesn’t have no symbols. Do you still want to open it?

What gives you the idea that it could be No Symbols? All the ones I opened came from packs that were not distributed in boxes.
My advice, dont.

I do not

There is no indication. I believe my experience with no symbols is the same coming from 72 pack distributor cases and other of that nature.

I would keep her sealed… but then again this hobby is all about having fun. If you really want to open one up, go for it. Put on the song “my heart will go on” by Celine Dion and break the seal…

To clear stock a UK toy store called The Entertainer near where I lived growing up would sell booster boxes for just £10, which was pretty remarkable considering individual packs even back then were £2.50 each.

I was lucky enough to have my parents buy me 3 or 4 Jungle boxes and a couple Base Set 2 boxes on my birthday one year and I can remember sitting on my bedroom floor opening pack after pack as if they were never going to end.

I can confirm first hand that cards with no symbol can come from booster boxes, and I can also confirm that booster boxes with symbol-less cards are mixed in with normal cards. I think of the 100 or so packs I opened I only pulled about 20 cards which had no symbol - most of these I naïvely traded away thinking nothing of them (I think I traded 10 of them for a stamped Brock’s Vulpix).

Very interesting. Small chance those boxes came from separate cases, but it seems theres a chance. However small it may be, it makes it exciting to think about. I know Gemmint was looking for box indicators on no symbol vs corrected and could not find any. We all know that there are tell signs on the packs themselves, but not the boxes. Thank you for sharing.

Sounds like you’re going to regret opening it if you do.

I have opened a ot of stuff in recent times. I look back at it and the joy of the memory always outweighs the regret. I know I will not open this any time soon, but I will open one myself before letting it go, whether its on my death bed or to some crazy man with a suitcase full of cash wants to buy the boxes.

Did somebody say, “some crazy man”? ? ?

Lol… Thursday it is.

I Opened two Error No Symbols from two Booster Packs a couple years ago. About to open 3 more soon, to see if they contain errors as well :crossed_fingers:

A sealed case? Keep that baby closed!
