I’ve always been an independent, and even voted for Our honorable president the first time, but since the useless Our honorable president took office and now the old lady Hillary and older men Sanders or Our honorable president is trying to get in as well, well…I’m anything that will get rid of those incompetents.
Things could change but for now I’d prefer Rubio, Fiorina, or Cruz.
Actually though, even 'M would be better than that Democratic group.

Socialist Values in the workplace would be really awesome, with strong Watchdog/ Government/Corporation Regulation, but that’s never going to happen because those Corporations are unstoppable, and will not have it any other way. Especially when so many people are just so focused on one side to even see the many benefits that have been created by all sides of politics.

With the weak dollar and potential taxing of all overseas purchases, how does everyone feel about the porltential increases to costs in the hobby?

I don’t collect the english cards unless they be wizards of coast 1st edition, but I have thought about it and it would be quite hard from here in AUS with shipping nd stuff/ shitty dollar sitting at 1.43US right now… 2-3 Years ago it was nirly even. Even buying my Japanese 1st edition booster boxes is a bit harder now, so I get 16 instead of 20, because I usually have about 550 saved up for them. I think the English ones look shit compared to japanese anyway, and it would be really hard to get them all in 10… Probably get 9’s like crazy.

Actually, there is a link between politics and Pokemon.
PSA, as well as their parent company Collectors Universe, are located in the highest taxed, most Democratic state in the nation…when adjusted for cost of living. PSA has to do something in able to survive under those difficult circumstances.
So PSA has to pump cards out, one every 30 seconds, in order to stay in business.
Maybe with new conservative leadership in that state PSA could afford to tack on an extra 15 seconds per card and fewer mistakes would be made? Lol

I had that thing in my mind around launch of Primal Clash but because card quality sucked so hard I simply switched to japanese cards. Definitely making my order from USA if there’s any interesting english products in future.
This discussion makes me sad for all the aus collectors to be honest, it really sucks that some of you guys are having to make the decision of stopping collecting something that you want just because of a weak dollar and higher incoming taxes… kinda makes me glad I don’t bother with any new English stuff and that I am where I am in the world!
