I googled no rarity and everything I see is of the cards from the japanese base set.
I went through some cards I got from a holo cube and there were some cards from gym, neo without the star. Are these considered no rarities too?
Only base set is referred to as no rarity, the base set cards with no rarity symbols are the “1st edition” of the Japanese base set. You will notice promo cards also do not have rarity symbols
So I have I think misty’ tentacruel and brocks rydon and feraligater.
these are errors then?
Nah the ones from gym and neo come from decks
Ok thanks

The ones from Neo come from the neo premium files
I guess technically there are some neo cards without rarity symbol from a deck as well, the intro pack neo, but I doubt those were in the cube. They don’t have the neo genesis etc. logos anyway.
No rarity cards are only base set.
Although most have been said already, I thought I’d add some links / pictures.
The Base No Rarities are basically the 1st edition of the Japanese Base Set. These are the only ones we actually refer to when we say No Rarity cards.
The Gym cards without rarity symbol are from the following Decks (and contain a mix of cards from Gym Challenge, Gym Heroes, and a select few Base Set cards; like Pokédex for example):
- Hanada City Gym (Misty’s Deck) from April 26, 1998
- Nivi City Gym (Brock’s Deck) from April 26, 1998
- Kuchiba City Gym (Lt. Surge’s Deck) from July 25, 1998
- Tamamuchi City Gym (Erika’s Deck) from July 25, 1998
- Guren Town Gym (Blaine’s Deck) from February 26, 1999
- Yamabuki City Gym (Sabrina’s Deck) from February 26, 1999
And the Neo cards without rarity symbol are from the Neo Premium Files:
- Gold, Silver, to a New World… Premium File (9 cards: the three Neo starter evolution trees)
- Crossing the Ruins… Premium File (9 cards: Eevee; Espeon; Umbreon; Pichu; Entei; Charizard; Unowns E, N and O)
- Awakening Legends Premium File (9 cards: Celebi; Entei; Suicune; Raikou; Lugia; Sudowoodo; Skarmory; Sneasel; and Ho-Oh)
And a lot of the early (Glossy) promos also come without Rarity symbol, as well as the Quick Starter Gift Set with artworks from the Vending Series. And there probably some miscellaneous cards/sets I’ve missed.
