Just bought myself a nice beat up No rarity trio set and a friend noticed the difference in weight compared to a normal Japanese Charizard Base.
Anyone knows why? The Blastoise doesn’t seem to have this.

I did not mean the actual card, but the text on the card.
No Rarity Weighs 70.5kg (1.5m) and the normal 90.5kg (1.7m):

No rarity came out first so it wasn’t full grown yet.

The no rarity has less ink due to the symbol not being there:thinking:
Not a big follower of no rarity cards, but I’m pretty sure there are several errors that are later corrected when they added the rarity symbol. Not that the first weight was originally an error, but yeah I guess he grew a bit. The fact that errors were corrected and other changes were made when the rarity symbol was added further solidifies “no rarity” as being the true first edition.

Sorry it was early in the morning and i should have realised haha. Yea the NR print run has multiple weight, length (i think) and even number differences compared to the standard Japanese Base Set print.
