Oh… Woops, I see it now. That was actually a mistake. I quickly deleted a previous draft about Sword and Shield booster boxes and the hype around it and forgot to change the tags on it
I noticed tonight that the PSA app on iOS has now been updated to include the new Grader Notes. I’m curious to see if these notes will have an impact at all on cracking or reviewing.
These grader notes will only be available to the original submitter, they’ll not be available for public look up alongside the cert or anything like that. I think they are doing this to prevent people from looking up the grader notes on a card they’re looking to buy, “clean”, regrade, and flip.
Yeah I read that was happening, which I think is a good thing personally.
I was more suggesting, will it affect resubmitting or having to crack if there is a discrepancy on said notes. If the Grader Notes says : “holo scratch top left” but you can’t see it, if you send for review will the graders look at the notes and agree or will they crack to review. If PSA blindly believes their own notes, then this will be a con of the new feature.
Should people crack to resubmit if the notes don’t meet expectations of the submitter etc. we will find out in time how well they work and how accurate they are.
30 seconds to grade the card. 60 seconds to type the note (or handwrite it for appropriate department) turnaround times will stall once its on the cheaper levels. I love the concept but curious about the execution. “None of your cards are 10s so i can take my grader notes to the hot secretary”
