NEW Pokemon Snap game announced!

So unbelievably excited for this. Snap was a big part of the franchise for me back in the day and I expect many others as well.

I wouldn’t even be surprised if our hobby saw a similar bump in interest due to this, like what happened with Pokémon Go.

I’m more excited about this than their announcement of Sword & Shield. After this game releases we should hold another Snap contest in another year or two. I was hyped when I saw this on IG.

I do hope they release cards related to this though, either something like the original SNAP contest or similar to Art Academy contests or hell, even if they came out with promos for a new set.

This game looks simple, fun, and beautiful.

Why even wait a year or two? I think E4 should have another Snap contest soon after the game releases, when the hype is highest.

I only suggested it in case there are a few who needed more time to get the game and as to not overshadow the winners of the most recent contest. If this game comes out next year, though, I think it should be fine and you’re right, it would be best to do it during the hype.

Seeing this trailer makes me so incredibly happy, I can’t wait to play it! Also I hope that the Magikarp in the trailer has a safe return to the water. What a cliffhanger.

I also want to praise the graphics of this game, and it’s another example of Game Freak hitting themselves in confusion. Those are the graphics we expected from the main games Sword&Shield. Hm, I wonder what could have changed. Oh.

I’m so excited. I remember joking with EnlightenedBulba 2 days ago about how one would never come out.
And it looks like it’ll actually be a game that makes use of the switch’s capabilities, can’t wait to see more.

Nice!! Looks like it’s being developed by Bandai Namco. Will be interested to see how they do. Visually i think it already looks better than Sword and Shield. Let’s hope that they are holding out on showing us really cool “snap-worthy” moments!

Snap is easily my favorite Pokemon video game. The trailer looks amazing and I can’t wait to play.

Who knows - maybe they will have some way for us to print out the photos?
